same for slade and ford. just crazy that both of these guys would want to go to the same school- that is some kind of crazy sale job if franklin can sell that. how embarrassing is it to have that much talent, and have to sit behind those other players. i just absolutely love players that want to blaze their own path and also love VT. when instate kids are in love with the "it" schools you can't do much about it. it's just a fad, we'll just have to keep developing our brand. also frustrating to try and get top ten va kids to come here lately, spend those resources, and miss out. we could win a national championship with ford's of the world, but not with current path. for all the discrepancy between the best programs and then ours, it's still a like for like decision. there has to be a pretty vanilla reason for players like this, bec. the path to the nfl is the same no matter where you go. if you are good, you are good anywhere. can't beat out a girl friend or friend, but vt college experience is second to none. pennsylvania or other random states aren't home. be a leader people, not a follower.
