jump up and grab your throat or anything, either. They are like terriers - totally fearless, but not really credible. 5 dachshunds, 10 dachshunds...they just don't bring it like, say, one American bulldog. I've played around with dogs like that, and had to cool it. They will startle you with their power, speed, and jumping ability. I can easily see how people can't handle them, if they wanted to do some damage.

All that said, I am sorry about this poor woman and her family and friends. These dogs must have overwhelmed her and knocked her down somehow.
