Yes if we could have gone 11-0 with him. But in general, no.

Any organization that banks all of its success on one person or even one role, particularly when it has the option to not do that, is putting itself at huge risk. We should have a multifaceted, flexible plan for succeeding regardless of whether any one player decides to come here. I would love to have Ford. I really would. He seems not only like a great player but a great person. But we're going to kick butt with or without him. I also respect the fact that he's just a kid who has to choose a school that's right for him. He's got his own priorities and who am I to question them? I hope he picks Tech. But if he doesn't, I still wish him success and hope he goes on to accomplish great things. In fact, I can genuinely say that, until a person gives me reason not to, I feel that way about everyone.

We can win an ACC championship and get to the playoffs with Ford. We can do that without him too. Why? Cause we're Tech and we're freakin awesome.
