Kidding. Do we need a true RB coach to help attract elite RBs to an offense that doesn’t necessarily showcase the run?

ZB is an incredible recruiter. He has experience playing receiver at VMI. Then coached receivers or DBs at several schools, including VT- and developed record-setting receivers at those schools. He now has coached RBs, but can he help attract that elite RB talent when RB is at least perceived as less relevant under Fuente?

I'd vote for bringing in a true RB coach for that 10th coaching position. I think ZB could make a greater impact this and next year transitioning to DBs if VT could attract a great RB coach.

ZB is an amazing talent as an overall coach and recruiter, and he obviously knows VA well. Can VT find a way to get over the hump of losing top RB recruit targets every year? I hope so. Hopefully Ford decides to come home to VT!
