Its not just the money. Its a lack of dedication to its own alumni


What student athlete wouldn't want to have his name engraved in stone forever at his school just for having lettered, not to mention other honors if you achieve more? Even if they never go to the pros, you can be sure they will always be remembered for their contributions. Its not a selfish desire, just a human one. The recruits see this and are wowed. Hell, I'm just seeing this on a youtube video and I'm wowed.

VT not only shows this lack of dedication to its student athletes but also to its regular alumni. There are many upon many alumni who have not received notices for annual donations for years now. Its like VT doesn't care. No wonder VT has one of the lowest percentage of fan donations in the ACC.
