That was a transition year from coach to coach.

The 2019 class has inched up to 48th, but I agree, it could stand to be better. There are lots of ACC programs ahead of VT.

Here are class rankings from that site:
2011: 73
2012: 71
2013: 41
2014: 57
2015: 75
2016: 83
2017: 55
2018: 58

So that 2018 class is middle of the pack.

The Hokies hosted a regional under Pete Hughes back in 2013, so there's not a real good look at the classes that created that team. I doubt the 2011 and 2012 classes had much effect on the 2013 team, but those of you who know the program better might have more info.
