It is hard to tell where that program is headed. I think Bronco
is implementing some type of structure that was not there at all before. They are approaching this as a long term rebuild as they should. His biggest problem is recruiting. If they stick with him for a while then the guys that have been in the program for 3-5 years can come around a little and make them competitive most of the time. Of course, dumbing down the schedule will help them in regards to bowl games and exposure/progress is what they need.
I don't forsee them being a competitor for the ACC title on a yearly basis but they can get there once in a blue moon if all the stars align. At the end of the day, the program in general is in better shape than with Captain Cop at the helm. I still don't see them beating us any time soon. A lot of things can happen especially with a new AD from SEC country. The burning question will be if the elite donors want to siphon money into a football program.
