They are offering and competing with VT for every single VA top RB prospect every single year now. They have offered 2020 4 star VA running back Chris Tyree, who so far is ranked #2 in the state and they are among his favorites. Last year they got 5 star Ricky Slade, this year they will likely get Devyn Ford per all the recent CB's, and now going after next year's top RB as well. We really need a recruiting edge which we don't have to compete against the big boys. Something like really amazing student athlete dorms, like the ones FSU recently built, or we will keep losing these recruiting battles.

Devyn Ford, if you're reading this, just know you won't be guaranteed any playing time at PSU with all the top flight competition who will be just as good if not better than you. In addition to Tyree in 2020, looks like PSU may be the heavy favorite for another 4 star RB target in Marshawn Lloyd in 2020 from Maryland. Just something to think about.
