On the other hand, expanding to 8 makes a team like UCF


Prove their argument over 3 games. IMO that’s a “win-win”, teams like that don’t get left out AND they get their shot to prove the naysayers wrong (that they can compete with top of P5)
Otherwise they may as well all go back to FCS
