There is only one D1 national champion according to the NCAA..and that is NDSU :P.

Now with that out of the way, the P5 conferences need to realize that they cannot continue to exclude the G5 from a place at the table. Eventually the G5 will say screw it and create their own playoff. Do we really need two FBS national champions because the P5 is more interested in preserving their elitist club than they are in legitimate competition? Its past time to put the subjective "best teams" argument to bed. 10 FBS conference champs, seeded by committee (nod to the eye test folks), top two get a first week bye. Settle it on the field and let the chips fall where they may. (Sorry Indies, there are only 4 of you and its time to join a conference)
