As a 3rd round pick Rudolph is cheap enough that there won't be huge pressure from upper management to put him in the second Ben has a bad game. There is no reason Ben can't mentor him for a couple of years before he finally decides to hang it up. Ben is just mad because his retirement talk caused the Steelers to draft his replacement right when all the other big franchise QB's are signing new monster deals. Now he has no leverage to go after a massive new contract of his own.
