Because we could have been chosen over Miami. But the fact that we were in the ACCCG held in Orlando a month earlier didn't help. But the opponent would have been WVU, who just so happened to be our opener the following season. I'm not sure how many would have travelled to a repeat site from a month earlier to watch us play an opponent we were set to play again in nine months.

Had we gone to the Camping World Bowl last year though, I think we would have been juggled away from it this past year.... and probably steered to Charlotte.
