I didn't watch the Spring Game,but here's my take

Its hard to take away anything about a QB performance when he can't be hit. Ryan Willis doesn't have a good resume and how he throws the ball when he isn't facing real pressure doesn't mean spit. If you're giving him the starting job based on the Spring Game, my take is, you're certifiable.

Ryan Willis' teams have won (1) game that he has played in (Rhode Island). The guy has -90 yards rushing in his career which indicates two things - he isn't used to playing in a read option offense and he has exactly ZERO ability to escape the rush. Jackson may not be a great QB, but he is one million times better equipped to start at VT right now than Ryan Willis is. Anyone who says otherwise is wishcasting like a champ.

I mean, seriously, what offense was being run in the Spring Game? A read option offense where the QB never takes the ball? If every team we play knew that the QB would never take the ball, how well would our offense work? I mean, I'm asking genuinely, how will that offense resemble the offense we run when the season starts? And you're taking something from that kind of game?
