It does seem like a lot of fans compare JJ's freshman season to ...


... BR's senior season, and not his first year as a starter. And if VT fans would look closely at BR's senior season, it did not start well. After a couple of games, it seems like a switch was flipped on, and BR's final season became one of beauty, plus a Conference PotY award, etc.

I guessing freshman to sophomore year will reveal a better JJ.
