Okay, so here's your point you say I'm ignoring:

Your argument is either "the Steelers can't reach because they are the Steelers." Okay, I can't counter that.
Or your argument is the tired old message board trope of "these are professionals, they know more than you do, shut up." Great, fun discussion. But, of course, the corollary to that point is that the Browns are also professionals and they "reach" with every pick. But the Steelers are better professionals! Yes, the Steelers can't reach because they are The Steelers (TM).
Too bad the Steelers didn't pick Quinn Blanding in round 1 so you could have argued that it was a good pick because....The Steelers.
Finally, I like the Steelers, I like Edmunds and I would defend the term "reach" as a non-negative. It just means that they could like Edmunds, but they could have got him later and added another player in this slot. A point that nobody can ever prove or disprove.
