and just as important I have acknowledged multiple times in this thread that your contention it was a reach could prove true with the benefit of hindsight. I think you have gotten lost in this thread about what was really said to start. What I have said, and you choose to continually ignore, is that Steelers management would heartily disagree with your opinion it was a reach and no amount of media wankers you cite or other organizations you claim to know feel that way are in the same position to evaluate the picks as the Steelers management. They are the ONLY ones who know how they want to play, what resources they currently have to play that way and what potential draftees they project would best meet their needs and they have the added support of a pretty solid historical track record. I do not believe I took any greater offense to your idea that TE was a reach in the first round than you did to my assertion your opinion would be viewed as wrong by Steelers management. We will have to agree to disagree at this point at least until the on field performance provides more data to evaluate the pick.
