Eastern Kingsnake. Not a bad critter to keep around.

They eat rodents and poisonous vipers and can be tamed and kept as pets. Common in coastal regions from Texas to Virginia, although their population is waning a bit in some areas. They're protected in Georgia. Cool pic!
