Point being that the number of players who made a roster in the pros has tracked pretty well with the success of VT football, i.e. VT tends to not underachieve relative to their talent level. The numbers of the last couple years are better than the previous 3-6, but they need more, everywhere. They arguably need even more than in the 2000s if they want to win multiple ACC titles again, unless Clemson, Florida State, and Miami all take simultaneous dives again.
