One of thethings I love about Virginia Tech is their is an ethical standard of how our coaches and players are suppose to behave. I like that coach Beamer and Fuente took and take seriously not only the responsibility of winning, but they are also developing young men to be great football players and even better citizens and people. If I had the choice to have coaches who are consistently getting our team in the top 20 (where lightening strikes every once and a while and we compete at the highest level), who are doing it right with high ethical standards, vs. the teams who are in the consistently in the top 5 and have no moral standards and will do ANYTHING to win and recruit, I will take the former every time. I have a daughter who went to VT, and now is at U of L in Dental School. What is going on there is a prime example of a program who clearly lost their way. I hate that Coach Scott is having to go through this, and their is no doubt he is a great coach. But CLEARLY, this behavior is not to the standards of our school of Coach Fuentes team.
