They're loaded with high school All-Americans. They're faster than us. They've been double teaming our players with the ball (even at midfield). I would've called a time out when UNC took a 5-3 lead on that 3-0 run. Sung knows more about lacrosse than me, but he let UNC get ahead 7-3 before calling a time out. By then UNC had complete control on both sides of the field. Our spacing hasn't been good, but that may have something to do with UNC's defense and speed. UNC had a relatively easy game yesterday vs. Syracuse and we played in the rain and mud until 1:30 am. Plus they're only 20 minutes away from Duke. UNC just looks fresher than us.

As for the second half, our players need to help each other more. Too many times UNC had 2-3 defenders on our 1 player. They've pretty much shut out Paige Petty. All we can hope is that we play inspired in the 2nd half like Duke did in the final 8 minutes last night. The first 10 minutes of the 2nd half will be important.
