The reason I said the part about “state funds being used for out of state
Rooms” was in response to the person who made the original Tweet that I read that brought this story to light. They were the one talking about state funds for rooms outside the state of Virginia & in multiple states like that made it extra bad or something. I just don’t see where state lines or multiple states, matter. It’s not like he’s transporting drugs or involved in human trafficking across state lines. Was it right to have an affair? No, absolutely not because both his family & her’s are hurt. People shouldn’t treat people that way.
I can’t tell you whether Galen was a good coach or recruiter. That’s Fuente’s job. What I was saying separate from committing adultery, which again, is wrong, a coach should be judged on his bottom line performance. If, key word IF, a coach goofed off and dated girls in hotel rooms 29 times (random number) but pulled in 10, 5 star recruits than I’d say we’d all be darn happy. It is was not an approval of adultery. I really should not have to explain this because it was all said in my first post. If people would comprehend or not re-quote only part of what I said.
Btw- We don’t even know who tweeted this stuff. It sounded like the husband of the so called “failed marriage” but if could be the women involved. She could be pissed off for some reason like maybe Scott finally ended the affair & now she’s being vindictive to get back at him. Obviously, Scott has some fences to mend in his own marriage if it’s going to survive & I wish all involved in both families well but it’s not my business. Also, I’ll say for the reading comprehension challenged, no matter who made the tweet, the disgruntled woman or man, I’m not condoning cheating or adultery. Coach Scott made a mistake. He’s human. Hopefully, he’ll learn & be given a second chance.
