I must be the only one out there that is overjoyed that draft weekend is


finally upon us and will be over after a few more days so everyone on the internet will stop talking about it and writing articles about it. I never seen an event so over hyped and dissected. College football's upcoming season is 20 times more interesting.

With the NFL's declining TV ratings and attendance, why is the draft still played up so much? It not like an actual game is being played and to think they actually made a movie with Kevin Costner about the NFL draft. The average career for these guys is 3.3 years less time than most spent in college so I hope they got a degree cause those signing bonuses don't go as far as you think.

The NFL draft needs to be treated like the Kentucky Derby. In like your flipping channels and notice the Kentucky Derby is on this weekend so you watch it for about 30 minutes and forget about it.
