Which has nothing to do with stats, facts, and data.
This is NFL, but same idea.
Why would your team suddenly say "Hey guys, we need some momentum in the 4th quarter! So this time, we're gonna return the ball 57 yards!"
1) They weren't trying to return the ball in the 1st and 2nd quarters (or all season long)?????
2) Won't the other team be equally motivated to stop this magical momentum?
So we remember the 57-yard return, but we forget all the times the returner is stuffed at the 16-yard line. Or the holding penalty.
