multiple false statements.

I have been around the program in one form or another for over 30 years.

The statement about losing half his recruiting classes is patently false and pretty easy to rebut based on the data. The proper way to analyze the data would be transfer swimmers since there are always kids that decide to move on and stop swimming. I believe we had 1 transfer in each of the last three years.

The statement about Whit almost firing Ned last year was laughable given the fact that Tech was the ONLY swimming program to finish in the Top 5 in both Men and Women ACCs each of the last 10 yearsthe streak ended this year. In addition, the record of academic excellence is unquestionable.

I have interacted with Ned many, many times and he has always been a total gentleman and a class act. He is a VERY tough coach that puts up with zero BS. Some people might perceive that as being an "SOB".

This man has given his heart and soul to Tech for 20 years and built a very well respected program that graduates the kids. Whatever his reasons for leaving, why can't we simply thank the man for his service and significant contributions to the program instead of posting things that are unquestionably false to fulfill some personal agenda?
