I'll be darned, a Turbotax thread...*just* finished mine...

I did them a while ago, but still had one glitch, rollover from traditional to Roth. So waited til now to deal with it. Turbotax was treating it like a complete distribution, that is, at' worst, I would be taxed for the whole amount. I made like $34 between the non-deductible traditional and the couple days to roll-over.

Anyway, all's well now, bunch of new screens I hadn't seen before popped up which accord with my thinking I owed taxes on the $34 not the whole contribution. Not sure what happened. bought the disc at Amazon so sure, not updated software, strange things happened , just needed to load it a few times to cycle through a few updates?

It surely couldn't have been user error. ;^) Probably some combination of both with the updates getting me turned around.
