The NFL can barely keep people's attention these days.....


It's just a different time. Sports, like football, are not picking up fans at the same rate they used to. Instead of a new huge crop of young folks interested in going to games and following the day-to-day goings-on of sports teams, those crops just get smaller and smaller by the year. Furthermore, some of the diehards that have been there for the last decade, are just finding more interesting things to do with their time. It is what it is. Sports, including football, are surely not dying. They just have a lot more to compete with these days. Not to mention, VT football is Groundhog Day at its finest. We will win close to ten games, lose the big games, and maybe get into a decent bowl that won't matter. Rinse. Repeat......
