The Big XII would backfill Oklahoma & Kansas from the AAC.


I would hope if these changes take place, WVU would be invited to join the ACC.

So the Big XII would need 3 to return to 10 or 5 to return to 12. So I would suspect the Big XII would select from Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, and Memphis.

Then the AAC would draw from C-USA again. The question would be whether at the end of the CFP contract in 2025 with ESPN the Big XII would be renewed to receive full share, or if the Big XII would drop to a G-5 level. Could Texas in a G-5 conference by itself sustain a P-5 designation?
