Outlaw is going to be an off-the-bench guy this year so I could see him wanting to go somewhere he could be an immediate starter. He's not an NBA or next level guy so if he wants to give it a go somewhere else where he can be the star for a year I couldn't blame him for that.

Not sure if that's his motivation just inferring on what I've read.
