Had a lengthy interview with Brooks yesterday.

Discussed a wide range of topics, all of which will be put into article form next week. Just a couple tidbits to chew on...

As I posted below, the Hicks transfer was not a surprise. The coaches saw it coming and feel prepared to go on without her. They're really pleased with how the team gelled after Hicks' departure in Feb.

Brooks really likes his two PGs coming in this summer, Shaniya Jones and Dara Mabrey. Jones is a ESPN 100 player and Mabrey is a two-time Gatorade POY in NJ. He's expecting both to contribute next season.

Kenny also mentioned that this is a big recruiting weekend for them. He obviously didn't get into specifics because he's now allowed to, but said that they're hoping to add one or two more members to this '18 class.
