Would really like to see a Holiday Hoops event as done in the past.

Play Thursday-Saturday at the Coliseum.

Thursday night
VT vs. Richmond
VCU vs. UVA

Saturday night
VT vs. VCU
UVA vs. Richmond

Hell you could expand it to Friday and Sunday and bring in JMU, George Mason, ODU, Norfolk State, VMI, Liberty..but obviously the VT/UVA/VCU/UR games would be the big draws to sell the tickets.

Neutral site games = good for the RPI
Practice playing the Thursday-Saturday format = a test run for the postseason
Sponsorships + ticket prices = maybe you make as much as you do for a sparsely attended winter break home game

Only issue I think right now is the state and size of the Coliseum in Richmond. But perhaps if Dominion builds the new arena they are thinking about proposing...it would be an opportunity for RVA to showcase its potential as a tournament host as well.
