I was wrong about VCU, but youre still incorrect about scheduling


It's not about being the big guy or little guy. Plus it's not as if Richmond is a Big South team. Theyre in the A-10. They'd be sort of a basketball equivalent to ECU (who we happen to have a longstanding home and home arrangement with).

Point is, a home and home with Richmond or most A10 schools would not be outrageous. I'd prefer a 2 for 1, but I'm not sure that's realistic. Richmond would laugh hysterically if we offered a 3 for 1. They're a good (albeit down right now) program with good facilities in a good league. Not to mention, the lines between major and not as major in basketball is much more blurred than it is in football (The A10 is generally considered higher than the "mid-major" label).

I didn't say it would happen. But it would be beneficial for both programs.
