I would assume Buzz is really looking more for someone who will give max effort at all times in practice. In that case, he only has to be good enough to give something of a realistic look at what other teams will do.

Like you said, he won't see the floor except for a couple minutes in a few games a year (40 point blowouts over Morehead State for instance).
