I sort of backed into building my own computers

My first desktop was a Packard Bell, but all of the hardware was proprietary. I had bought additional memory, better video card, sound card, etc., but nothing would work. One of my buds suggested I just buy a CPU, RAM & MOBO and build my own. That was back in the 90s, and I've built every one of my computers since.

My current rig is 8-10 years old, and I'm probably due for another build before too long. Would have started purchasing hardware, but after hearing about the flaws in the Intel CPUs, and now Bitcoin dweebs running up the price up on cards...I'll hold out a little longer. If this one fails, I can always slap something together to hold me over until I do my next build. You can bet the C-drive will have a SSD...book it!
