You're assuming he stays 3-4 years, and actively pursues a degree
In reality, many of these guys take goof-off courses during the Fall Semester, and then, once they're done with NCAAB, don't even bother to attend Spring courses.
So why keep pretending they're student-athletes?
I hope more players follow his lead -- if they're not interested in a college degree, go to G-League (or Europe). Hopefully we'll see more student-athletes in NCAAB, instead of the current situation (a glorified AAU environment).
