I have mixed feelings...
On one hand, I imagine he will be a better player in a year if he goes to the G-league and focuses completely on developing his game instead of going to Syracuse. On the flip side, I think he will be missing out on something by skipping college, but it seems like he would have only been at SU for 1.5 semesters anyway.
I think the bigger risk for him is that by going to the G-league he will be facing much more difficult competition (grown men) than if he went to SU. I would worry that some of his flaws will get exposed and, even though he might be a better player, he could slide in the draft compared to if he just came and dominated in the ACC.
