Quick thoughts on tonight's game, plus a link to the stream.

West Virginia was 25-11 this season and 8-10 in the Big 12. WVU faced off with Tech on a neutral court back in November and won by 18.

However, West Virginia has not been the same team since losing their first game of the season on Dec. 31, 2017 to Texas. WVU started the season 14-0, and finished 8-11 (does not include WNIT games).

Here's who West Virginia has faced so far in the WNIT
83-50 win vs. Bucknell (22-10)
79-51 win vs. Saint Joseph's (19-15)
67-55 win vs. James Madison (23-11)
76-62 win vs. St. John's (19-15)

WVU is led by scorers F Teana Muldrow (18.9 ppg) and G/F Naomi Davenport (16.2 ppg). Muldrow and Davenport also lead the team in rebounds, 8.7 rpg and 7.2 rpg respectively. Neither is taller than 6-1, which could give Tech a chance to mitigate them on the glass.

Ultimately, I think this game will come down to Tech's perimeter defense. Tech will have to hit their shots, of course, but if they can defend Alabama like they did WVU, things will be a lot easier. Also, Regan might need to have another double-double tonight.

Much like VT, West Virginia hasn't played a road game yet in the WNIT. They've hosted every game so far, and they will continue to host tonight. Tip is at 7 p.m., and I've posted the streaming link below. I'll be watching and will do my best to post updates to here and on Twitter.
