Officals caught up in emotion bothers me
Officials are human and overwhelmingly call it like they see it and try to do right. Where I get concerned is when an official lets emotion, the moment, the event overtake the call. This sometimes happens in all sports and it's human nature. Hard to avoid it. This is where I have a problem with Ted "TV" Valentine or Jamie Lucky. They sometimes forget that the audience isn't there to see them. They are there to see the players. It's not that either one are bad either. Their problem.....caught up in the emotion of the game. Emotion can sometimes cloud objectivity. Lack of objectivity doesn't always imply bad intent either.
