Is there something he specifically said in the past negatively about VT? The only thing I remember is one time he did not like the way a couple of our players acted while celebrating.

When the ACC expanded I think he was in a defensive mode because he felt that footballl was dictating the whole thing (which of course is absolutely true). And there is nothing wrong with that football should be the king. Coaches like K and Boeheim have huge egos and it was a tough dose of reality for them to swallow.

I think K has come to appreciate the football schools more in the ACC because they have all made significant investments in their basketball programs.
