It isn't Kansas State's fault that UVa lost to UMBC.


No playoff or tournament is completely the right way to do it. The NFL has a one and done system as well.

The NCAA tournament will have a surprise champion every now and then but usually the best programs/teams win most of the titles - ie Duke, UNC, UCLA, Kentucky, etc.
