I did that in a house I owned several yrs ago - worked grate....


....probably depends on the "water source" ....but you'll get a level of moisture just from the soil in general. With my house, it was a lot of ground moisture from seasonal water levels and general humidity (like in a basement).... so with the encapsulated system and a dehumidifier, it kept the crawlspace nice a dry - not issues with moisture after that (which long term can mess up your insulation and subfloor.)
