Would riding an exercise bike work for you?


That's a way of getting some good cardio, and it's not weight bearing. You can try a upright bike (traditional bike riding posture), or more of a reclining bike to see which is more comfortable. One downside to riding a bike is that since it's not weight bearing, it doesn't do anything for building up bone density.
