OU isn't hooked to Texas, their problem is Ok. St. that's what ties them

down. OU and Texas can play each other if they are in different conferences. This is not the same relationship that Texas has with A&M and even that is starting to soften. There are discussions between Texas and Texas A&M now about playing again. Virginia Tech played WVU this year after a horrible break up almost 15 years ago. New people get in charge and the hurt goes away when both schools admit they were on a sinking ship.
