Beck wouldn't score at NCAAs. Be careful with the 55 and 60 times


Beck ran 6.84 today in the 60 at the Nike Indoor Nationals. The 75th best time in the NCAA this year is 6.74.

Beck's PR in the 55 is 6.36 which converts to a 6.84 in the 60 (standard conversion factor for men for a 55 to a 60 is 1.0749).

I don't mean to be critical of Beck at all (he's just a HS guy now, and who knows what he could become), but he's not an NCAA scorer at this point.

However, your point about how close we were stands. If we still had Tommy Curtain, or one of our throwers, we could have won it all this year (although, this was an abnormally weak year I think for a winning total).
