Softball recruiting has gotten to the ridiculous stage. A buddy of mine

went to the second softball game yesterday and met a father and his daughter who is being recruited by VT (and probably others). She is a pitcher and is in the 8th grade! It’s crazy, in my opinion, to be actively recruiting players that young. A lot can happen in a few years.

From what I have heard the NCAA is considering rules to limit contact until the junior year in all sports.
