Kickoff times and television coverage have been released for Virginia Tech’s first three games of the 2018 football season.

We already knew that Florida State would be a primetime game on Monday, September 3 at 8pm on ESPN.  Now we know the status of the next two games as well.

Saturday, September 8, vs. William & Mary: 2pm, ACC Network Extra
Saturday, September 15 vs. East Carolina: 12:20pm, ACC Network

We also know that the Hokies will face Georgia Tech on Thursday night, October 25, at 7:30 on ESPN.  Times and TV coverage for the rest of Tech’s 2018 games will be announced during the season.

  1. …for the benefit of this recent cord-cutter:
    ACC Network Extra=Watch ESPN app?
ACC Network= I gotta break out the rabbit ears and try to pick up the CW or demo a streaming service that includes whatever obscure regional sports network it’s airing on?

I feel like I keep up with this stuff, and even I am totally bewildered by the ACC’s branding of their botched conference network rollout.
