  1. WOW! Congratulations to Man and Women’s Track and Field!! Go Hokies!!

  2. And our pole vaulters absolutely dominated. Took the TOP 7 places, 1st through 7th! Pole vaulting is awesome by the way. And we’ve always had great ones…these kids are amazing!

    1. Bob Philips is an unsung hero in VT athletics. A VT All-American vaulter who been coaching here 30+ years and has turned out a slew of All-Americans, including his own daughter. Will should do a feature on him.

  3. Congrats to the men’s track team on another ACC championship, and thanks to Will and CC for the recent articles/recognition for some of the non-revenue sports. Football and basketball obviously continue to “drive the bus” as far as VT athletics, but as I recall a poster on the message boards once put it: “If VT’s playing it, I want them to win it.”

      1. That’s some stout company in the Top 10! (And, it’s nice to see the Hoo team ranked at #11, below the Hokies!)
