Stonewall Jackson ATH Devante Smith Commits To Virginia Tech

Good news just keeps coming for Virginia Tech from Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, Virginia. The latest is from rising junior athlete Devante Smith, who announced via Twitter that he has committed to the Hokies.

Smith, a 6’1.5″, 185-pound prospect, saw action at quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back his sophomore season. In 2014 he played alongside defensive tackle Tim Settle, who recently gained admission to Virginia Tech and will enroll next month, and Hokies class of 2016 safety commitment Reggie Floyd. Stonewall Jackson also produced Tech rising sophomore cornerback/return specialist Greg Stroman.

Virginia Tech offered Smith last month. He becomes the first class of 2017 prospect to commit to the Hokies.
