  1. The offense will be better and score more points, forcing the opposition to play catch up and put the ball in the air. Thus, more sack opportunities. Go Hokies!

  2. i wanted to vote for: 50+

but the counter says i voted as “You Had Already Voted For This Poll. Poll ID #166”
    which is not true.
i have had this problem the last five TSL polls i have tried to vote in.
anybody else experiencing similar or same?

    Go Hokies! . . . Go Sandmen*!

    1. I think if someone using the same IP address votes, that message will show

  3. I was tempted to pick an improved # over last year’s 48 sacks, but I am hoping that our offense will be much improved over last year’s roller coaster ride, which should mean that offensive vs. defensive minutes should be more balanced or tipping towards offense. With the defense on the field less, there would be less opportunities to generate sacks.

Chris, or anyone else, do you have any stats on the offensive vs. defensive minutes from 2014-15 and then the number of defensive minutes/sack? I am hoping the ratio will either stay the same or improve this year!

  4. Didn’t Bruce Smith have around 48 sacks during his career? Was that 3 or 4 years? I think he had 22 one year.
