Earlier, Chris Horne brought you an update on the three JUCO prospects who are visiting this weekend.
Tech could be getting another visitor soon as well.
Oral Roberts grad transfer Korey Billbury tells ESPN he plans to visit Virginia Tech next weekend. VCU, Georgia Tech, others in the mix.

I’m somewhat skeptical of that date, though. Assuming next weekend means the weekend of the Spring Game, that is one of two April evaluation weekends for coaches. That means coaches aren’t on campus…they are out evaluating 2016 and 2017 recruits at AAU events. Perhaps Borzello got the date wrong, and Billbury is visiting this weekend along with the three other prospects. Or, perhaps he’s taking a midweek visit.
At any rate, Billbury was a r-junior this past year for Oral Roberts. Because he redshirted, he would be eligible to play immediately next year, assuming he graduates this spring. He averaged 14.4 points and 7 rebounds per game as a point guard for Oral Roberts this past season. The year before that, he averaged 15 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He is listed at 6-3, 200 on the Oral Roberts website.
I’ll take Em where I can get Em. This is not a Program that can afford to overlook Anyone.
Don’t see the need with Allen and Robinson coming in … regardless of how you feel about Wilson
Do we really need another point guard?
Yes, we do. He is MUCH better than Devin Wilson. Bottom line you do not turn away a talent upgrade. I like Buzz…….always be recruiting.
