  1. Imagine making a Million + and living in Blacksburg! Why would he go anywhere. It’s home as he has stated before and we are glad he feels that way!

  2. The old saying is “You get what you pay for”. In this case you get more than you pay for. Has anyone added up the revenue from ticket sales, concessions, TV, etc.
That is primarily due to VT winning. And why do we win (excluding the last three years of course)? Defense!!!!!

  3. That’s a serious home town discount, considering what other, less accomplished DCs are making.

Obviously, he can leave pretty much any time he wants with that low buyout, but it’s good to know we’ve got Bud Foster for at least one more season!

      1. Yup. Also the buyout from VT side seems like a silly clause. Like Bud Foster is going to get fired.

        1. It’s always a possiblity. If Bud isn’t the new HC when Frank eventually hangs up his whistle, the new coach might want to bring in his own coordinators. I’m not sure I’d want a coach foolish enough to think he can bring in a DC better than Foster, but you have to admit the possibility exists.
